Meet Danae

Author, voice artist, and storyteller devoted to creating meaningful connections through the power of words.

A woman with long curly brown hair, wearing glasses with tortoiseshell frames, a blue and brown floral dress, and jewelry including a pearl necklace and earrings, standing outdoors with a blurred background of green foliage and pink flowers.

For nearly two decades, I've been in the sacred work of connecting - connecting people to their deepest selves, to each other, and to the Divine.

As an Episcopal priest since 2008, I've led spiritual retreats, given sermons that moved hearts, and discovered that people consistently fall in love with my voice. "I could listen to you all day," they'd say. "You make every story come alive."

My path led me to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, graduating from Adler Graduate School in 2014. I've spent twelve years in Jungian analysis, trained in the Mandala Assessment Research Instrument, and created programs like Clergy Care Circles to support those who care for others' souls.

Through spiritual direction using art, music, drama, poetry, and movement, I learned that storiesβ€”whether spoken, written, or livedβ€”have the power to heal and transform.

Now, I bring all of this experience to my work as an author and voice artist. My debut book, My Sap Is Rising, weaves together ancient wisdom and modern psychology on a pilgrimage toward wholeness. My voice work brings warmth, depth, and authenticity to projects ranging from commercials to audiobooks to meditative recordings.

At the heart of it all, I remain what I've always been: a catalyst of connection, helping others find their way home to themselves.
